A week after it's most disappointing loss of the season, the Arizona Wildcats rebounded with a statement win at home. Arizona beat up on #25 California 42-27 in front of over forty eight thousand fans in Tucson.
The Wildcats were just as surprised as anyone by the unlikely spark that true Freshman Keola Antolin provided Arizona in a close game. Antolin rushed for 149 yards and racked up three touchdowns in his first significant playing time of the year.
On defense, the good news continues for the Wildcats. Arizona held Cal's offense to just three points in the second half while scoring six of their own. Junior Cornerback Devin Ross intercepted a Nate
pass and returned it 21 yards to give the Wildcats a commanding lead late in the 3rd quarter.
The big win couldn't have come at a better time for Arizona as they were coming off a dissapointing loss and scheduled to host USC the week after. Arizona is tied with four other schools for the lead in the Pac-10 heading into week 8.
